Strong fences make good neighbors

A squirrel has moved in under the rafters above the pastor’s study. Tsk! Really!! A church mouse is one thing, but a church squirrel?!? I understand the concept (not to mention the reality) of Salvation being for the Gentiles as well as the Jews, but I don’t think I can share my space with this nut-meister!

Why not, they're both rodents? Then again, a church capybara would not be cool. :)

Dan,

DID YOU JUST CALL ME AN R.O.U.S??

Oh, wait, I’m sorry. That squirrel’s got me all riled up. While it’s true, we’re all rodents (even the capybara), I’m a mouse - a surly, satirical, sarcastic, mouse venting her spleen at the wrongs of the L….. What are YOU doing here, bushtail?

I live here.

No, you don’t.

Yes, I do.

NO, you don’t!

Yes, I DO, and I can prove it. Here, scurry over to this mirror and take a look. How many rodents do you see?

(GASP) one.

Remember, we’re up here in your CRANIAL attic. I’m in your mind. do-do-DO-do

Dan, I, er, we have to go now. Take a close look at the fine print under that squirrelly blog’s title. That may answer your question best.
